BOATSONIC

The BOATSONIC prevents the adhesion of algae and mussels. Also the bio‐film is a fast‐growing, that adhere to surfaces that are submerged in or exposed to water. Algae live within this bio‐film.

Antifouling is a prevention method of reducing algae and crustacean growth on boat hulls by providing a smooth surface to which the bio‐film cannot adhere. The coatings are also toxic and gradually disintegrate into the waterways. The expensive antifoulings every year are no longer needed and the hull remains clean and protected. Preventive and curative effect for boats / vessels with fiberglass, plastic, steel and aluminum hulls.

What does it do?

• The transducer is fixed to the inside of the hull of the boat below the water line.
• The transducer emits ultrasonic pulses directly onto the hull using it as an amplifier.
• The ultrasound shatters uni‐cellular organisms such as algae and bio‐film and provides a clean surface that they are unable to attach to.
• With no food source, organisms automatically detach when the boat moves through the water. Even stubborn bio‐film is removed.
