Gravel surfaces cannot be cleaned with a floor brush because stones are sucked in and the hose connection is blocked. This no longer happens with a suction bell, as the vacuum generated is set so that the stones are lifted by the suction, but fall back onto the ground.

Algae, sediment fine filter – water filter

is particularly suitable for pond cleaning to return the valuable water. Mechanical filtration catches the finest deposits, as well as green algae and thread algae. Fine filtration with water recirculation means that no nutrient-rich filling water (phosphates and nitrates) needs to be supplied and water consumption is reduced. With the C-coupling, the filter is connected to the sludge vacuum cleaner on the outlet side. The outlet of the water filter has one 75 mm tube in diameter. The stainless steel sieve element has a mesh size of 300 microns.

Function of the fine filter

The pumped water from the pond vacuum cleaner rises via the C-coupling into the water chamber and falls from above onto the metal screen elements. One mesh size of 300 micron diameter are used on the fine filter metal screen element. The contaminants are separated, which are larger than the nominal mesh size of the stainless steel screen elements. The dirt particles slide down the metal screen, where they can be removed manually. The cleaned water runs down through the 75mm outlet pipe back into the pond. The algae fine filter is not suitable for screening sludge / dense sediment and therefore quickly clogs.

At 8000 litres per hour suction performance, “algae-free pond suckers” is particularly powerful. After the use of clicking tones in the pond, biotope or swimming pond, the algae naturally die and a professional pond cleaning becomes necessary. Mud, algae and leaves, which still contain nutrients, must be removed from the water.

The professional pond silt sucker provides a great suction power to suck sediments from up to 2.5 m depth. Constance sediments are formed by dead plants and algae and settle at the bottom of the pond. These nutrients must be regularly removed from the pond.

The two-chamber system enables continuous work without disturbing interruption. The suckled dirty water is collected in the large collection container. When the oe-first chamber is full, the device automatically switches to the second chamber. The sucked mud broth can then be easily filtered back or disposed of in garden bed or under bushes, where it still serves as a natural fertilization.

Algaefree pond vacuum  price and accessories

Note: There are many cheap hardware store pond cleaners, so-called wet suckers. The low-cost wet vacuums are not suitable as mud suckers to suck dirt out of garden ponds, as they only have a suction chamber. Also so-called pond vacuums (among others the Oasis Pondovac 3 & 4) does not convince with its performance and are more suitable for small biotopes, garden ponds.
